Communication learning at its finest

CrossColors language Institute (CCLI) is an English Language training school designed for Business Professionals, Adults, Actors, Singers & Entertainers We specialize in training for Upper and Senior Managers, Administrators, Teaching and Medical Professionals. Our program doesn't just teach English we make the language come alive through the "Interactive Dramatic Communicative Approach” (IDCA): engaging discussion, focused conversation, improvisation and interactive group dynamics. Our classes are fully engaging from beginning to end, offering students the opportunity throughout the course to speak versus simply taking notes. We recognize that students of language learning need every opportunity to apply their speaking skills practically in a manner consistent with real situations and experiences. Grammar is taught at all levels to lay and facilitate a foundation and better understanding of the language structure (vocabulary, verbs, verb tenses, prepositions, idioms.

We empower students to be able to form their own sentences and expressions versus simple memorization. Discussion is key to our method. It allows students the opportunity to become emotionally involved in their lessons. We focus on what they think, feel and understand. We provide them with guided discussion topics that are practical and realistic. Our students speak only in the target language whether their beginner or advanced forcing them to use the acquired language skill learned. Every class has a practice component where we engage students in actual conversational exercises.

Our Approach (IDCA)

We utilize an approach that no other school uses. We call it IDCA- Interactive Dynamic Communicative Approach.  This method approaches English language Training in a realistic practical manner that focuses on conversation and conversational encounters. It includes role-playing, improvisation, group activities, peer grouping, singing and movement. Our instructors are colloquial language experts, masters of language expression and the various patterns and idioms of American conversational speech. We offer students the opportunity to learn English the way it is actually spoken versus textbook language instruction. We teach you the patterns of the English language and teach you strategies to facilitate faster learning.
